Derek Daniells is a firm believer is plein air painting. He feels there is no substitute for painting in the great outdoors and that towns and cities provide a wonderful range of subject matter.
In this very practical DVD Derek shows how to use a pochade box for quick oil sketches as well as producing larger pieces on his box easel. He paints in the beautiful cathedral city of Norwich where he walks along the banks of the River Wensum that threads its way through the centre of the city and finds three stunning subjects.
He also paints by Norwich's famous covered market and produces an inspirational picture of the Royal Arcade. His final demonstration is a wide vista painted from a hill overlooking the city.
This DVD will inspire and instruct and is a must for all oil painters.
