John Hoar is a master painter and one of his greatest loves is using line and wash in his watercolour paintings. In this DVD he shows how easy it is to bring your watercolour painting to life by utilizing an ink drawing as the basis of the painting.
John's favored tool is a matchstick stuck in a piece of garden cane and with that crude device he shows you how to create charcoal-like drawings that form the bedrock of the picture. There are four full demonstrations on this DVD filmed in the exquisite Suffolk wool Town and villages including Cavendish and Long Melford.
Run time 1 hr 52 min, Town House Films. This DVD is formatted US, Canada, Japan and other NTSC countries.
