A firm believer in plein air painting which provides a basis for all his finished work, Derek Daniells is a versatile painter working in oil, acrylic, mixed media & pastel.

He exhibits nationally & internationally & has regularly shown at several major London Galleries including W H Patterson where he has exhibited for over 10 years. Derek has shown with the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, The Royal Water Colour Society, The Pastel Society & in 2009 with The Royal Society of British Artists where he won the Daler Rowney painting award.

Derek has contributed many articles for The Artist Magazine and his work has been showcased in The International Artist Magazine. He has also contributed to several books including The Collins Artists Manual. He is always in demand for demonstrations and workshops and runs several painting courses both here and abroad with The West Norfolk Arts Centre. His work is in many public and private collections world wide.
